Neil studied to be an engineer and physicist at London University
and went on to work in the fast jet flight test arena, before
undertaking a variety of project management and commercial roles in
the aeronautical systems industry. He studied both in the UK and
Switzerland and has an MBA in addition to his pure and applied
science background. Despite a very demanding work schedule, working
for such organisations as NetJets and Embrair, Neil has always found
time to participate and offer his time, dynamism and support to
charitable causes. His presence on our Board is invaluable.
Delphine is Swiss from Geneva, where her family is involved in
public life at the highest level. She is extremely sensitive to the
need for a better world order where children can thrive. Apart from
her involvement in the world of art through her work for the Balthus
Foundation, she also supports the latter’s philanthropic activities
in favour of abused children. Delphine’s commitment and wisdom bring
the kind of energy that we need within Kids With A Cause Europe.
Marc is the foundation’s legal advisor. His abilities as a lawyer
are only surpassed by his very human touch and wonderful sense of
humour. Despite his demanding job at the head of a large legal
department, he is a generous man who contributes professionalism,
down to earth good sense and a strong guiding hand.
Celebrated photographer, Matthew has worked with some of the most
celebrated names in entertainment today, including Halle Berry,
Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson and Oprah Winfrey, to name but a few.
Equally he has worked for the most prestigious companies in the
field of luxury goods. Matthew’s love of photography and people
stretches far beyond his commissioned work and includes a number of
projects with children’s charities. We are indeed fortunate to have
him on our Board of Directors. www.matthewjordansmith.com
Franca has travelled a lot and seen poverty at close quarters. She
has been active in humanitarian activities for 30 years with many
charitable organizations eg. Save the Children’s Fund and Oxfam, in
the UK and Australia. In 1996 she was a founder member of the Audrey
Hepburn Foundation of Switzerland as Board member and Executive
Director. In this capacity she managed the organisation, its museum
in Tolochenaz and the team of some 50 volunteers, succeeding in
raising substantial funds, supporting 28 children’s projects
worldwide, including UNICEF’s Swiss Committee’s projects in Rwanda
and Guatemala. She has organised a number of high profile
fundraising events in Geneva and Lausanne. In 2005 Franca launched
Fondation Kids With A Cause Europe in order to continue her
humanitarian activities and build on the experience gained during
her association with the Audrey Hepburn Foundation of Switzerland.

"We are delighted to welcome our Kids With A Cause-Europe Ambassador, representing us at the International School of Lausanne, Signe Bernhard-Larson (Siggy).
Siggy really represents the very best qualities of youth. She is generous and enthusiastic and truly incarnates the philosophy of "sharing" that we try to encourage our young supporters to adopt as a way of life. Thank you Siggy for joining us."
